YOUNG PEOPLE STRONGLY FEEL THE NEED FOR THEIR PARENTS TO TREAT THEM CONSISTENTLY

There are few definitions of young people we’ve often heard in our life. Mostly, people say young people as the teenagers under the age of 18 years old.But generally, we can define them as the people who are in transitional period of their life. It is the time when they will face a lots of doctrines and influences from their surroundings. They are supposed to be guided by the one who responsible of them, in this case, their parents.  But today, the way parents treat their children has so much changing from how it used to be. The parents nowadays are busy with their career and it makes their children feel abandoned. The parents tend to make their children to be able to responsible in making their desicions themselves, but in fact it makes the freedom of the young people bigger and more unresponsible if it’s not controlled well. This problem leads to some negative cases related to teenagers like free sex, drunk, consuming cigarettes, etc. which can give bad impacts for their future and their surroundings.
According to the background above, it is true that the young people strongly need their parents’ treatment consistently. In my opinion, there are some points as the support of my arguments. First, the nature of young people. Young people are dependent and not mature enough to bring a decision by themselves. Why can i say so? Compared to their parents or the adults, they are lack of experiences. The saying, “experiences are the best teacher in your life” is exactly true due this case. It means that the more experiences you have, the more yourself capable in making decisions wisely. Some decisions you’ve made in your life give some impacts to your future. If it isn’t done well, it will influence your future. I don’t say that the parents have to always involve themselves in deciding their childrens’ choice—because it can make the children spoiled and really dependent with their parents—but parents’ role here is to be a proper guide for the young people.
Second, the nature of parents. They are indipendent, mature, and somehow a decision maker. If there’s big problem related to the family, the parents is the commander in making a decision, including their children’s decision. Why? Because they are morally responsible to  the young people. Like what i’ve said before, parents are the guide to the young people in their life. They have to give some good basic principles to their children in facing some problems and to seek a solution for it. The basic principles they gave will be used by the children to decide whether something is right or wrong in their life. It means that the parents have the urgency to take care of their children.
Third, the relation of how the children need the parents. From the two points above, we can analyze on how children have opposite characteristics with their parents. Children are dependant to their parents and parents must take care of them. Children to be treated consistently is their right, while parents to take care of their children is their obligation. Why do the children have such right in? Because children are making their parents as model of their life. They see their parents as someone who accept them whatever happens. The children have been living with their family until they are teenagers like what i’ve decided. The parents must know everything about their children and their comfort zone. Children need comfort zone and they find it in their parents, therefore, the parents have to control their children’s development. When the children’s comfort zone is not fulfilled, these children will feel trashed and abandoned which are the worst feeling for them. They will think they are unwanted and of course it will give impact for their future. Two choices of impact when they feel such feeling. First, they will become an overprotective and possesive human which in a long term way, they will give harm to other people. Second, they will be an uncaring brandals where they will directly brng harm to the people.
Because of those three points, i can say that he young people still need their parents’ treatment consistently to make their future better and success.

60 million Indonesian men are smokers, top in the world

By Elly Burhaini Faizal ( The Jakarta Post )
Publication Date : 12-09-2012

A recent survey named, "The Global Adult Tobacco Survey (GATS): Indonesia Report 2011" reveals that Indonesian are some of the top smokers in the world with 67.4 percent of men over 15 years smoking and 34.8 percent of total adults were active smokers. Indonesian Health Minister, Nafsiah Mboi was anxious about it because it is 53.9 percent increasing from the previous survey in 1995 by National Social Economic Survey. Beside the men, the number of female smokers also increased 2.7 percent in 2011 from 1.7 percent in 1995. She said that the Indonesians had failed to protect their own people and been defeated by the tobacco industry. Soewarta Kosen, one of the survey team from the Health Ministry said that most smokers were already habituated before the age 18; however, an eight of adult smokers have started before the age of 15. Each adult smokers consumes an average of almost 13 cigarettes each day, and 80 percent of adults are exposed to smoke at home causing the increasing of passive smokers too. Indonesia was one of the only four countries in the region, including Thailand, The Philippines and Vietnam to participate in the survey. GATS is the global standard for systematic monitoring of adult tobacco use. It involved respondents aged 15 years and above both males and females. The survey using handheld electronic devices involves a total sample of 8,994 households. WHO Indonesia Representative Khancit Limpakarnjanarat said it was also important to think of teh report's launch as just the beginning of bold efforts to control tobacco use.
Due to the summary of the article above, i would like to decide that i'm not sure about the article because some points.
First, the confession of the ministry that Indonesian had failed to protect their own people and been defeated by the tobacco industry. I think that we have to see inside ourselves so far instead of stating that we  had failed. The government should think about the solutions --well it's a must-- to reduce the number of smokers. We knew that some prohibition for the smokers have been made, some no smoking area have been built, some efforts to limit the smokers to smoke have been existed, but those are ineffective. The tobacco factory is still running, the cost of the cigarettes are still reachable for everybody and the bureaucracy is still so easy for the factory to produce and sell the products. To me, these are the main concern the government should've thinking about it. The government can make a more complicated bureaucracy for the factory or increasing the tax of the cigarettes products. If the tax is increased, the cost of the cigarettes will automatically rised too. I think that's one of the best way to reduce the number of smokers, because we can't just make the factory off.
Second, the survey is apparently involving only four countries in the region. And the survey is becoming somehow the global standard. Personally, i think that this is not accurate enough to decide that it is the global standard. It was only involving 4 countries; moreover, the sample was only 8,994 households. Is it representative enough? No, of course not. I think that the survey needs more correspondents in more countries.
Well, some of us may think different. I found that some findings may not be fair and the validity of data is not really valid. How about you? Feel free to comment due to my responses :D
Thank you very much!

HELLO WORLD!

Well, it is my second post. I'd like to make some introductory about myself. Sounds ordinary, but is important, indeed.

My name is Kunfachri Adhi. Most of my friends call me Fahri but somehow, some of my friends call me Kun since the Senior High School because it's shorter and easier to pronounce. I was born in Makassar, on January 5, 1994. My father's name is Kunsatriyo and my Mother's name is Ira Yuvianie. I am somehow a half of Javanese and half of Malayan, especially Palembang. So, i can speak both of those local languanges.

My father is working in a state-corporation where he must move from a city to another city. So, i've moved to several cities during my 18th years old live, start from Makassar ( the city i was born ), then Sorong ( Papua ), Semarang, Jakarta, Palembang and back to Semarang. So, you can guess that i live longer in Semarang.

As a kid-who-has-to-move, my school is so. I was taking my kindergarten time in Sorong, half of my Elementary School in Semarang and the next half in Palembang. Then my junior high in Palembang and Semarang. I've spent my senior high time full in Semarang ( for the first time in my life, finally! ).
I was the student of SMA 3 Semarang. I liked to join student organization or what most called as OSIS. I also like singing, so i joined School Choir. I also like to do a debate practice, so i joined Student English forum in my Senior High School. I also like to play badminton, so I joined Badminton Club. Its just so many activities i've joined in my Senior High, isn't it? But i enjoyed it :D

Like what the other teenagers did, i also like to listen to music. The music i enjoy the most is jazz. I don't know why, but i just like it. I've been learning to practice to play 'jazz keyboard' but it didn't last for a long time -___-

Well, honestly, i don't know what i have to write about for more, so, that's all about myself.
Thank you so much!

Fahri, your next best friend.

HELLO!

HELLO WORLD!

So, here I am, Kunfachri Adhi making another blog of mine. I've been so active in posting on my previous blog before.

Nope. That's totally a lie.

I've been so long not to post something in my previous blog because of my business ( uh oh, even business men can still post on their blogs, Fahri! ).

Well, okay! I was a lil' bit lazy to open my blog because there were lots of things i had to do.But since i entered college ( just a few months ago ), i've seen my friends' blogs and they're just so awesome in making a post of their own. Moreover, my academic writing lecturer gave my classmates and I a task to make blog to make responses of articles she'll give us for the next classes during this semester.

So, there's no reasons accepted to not making a new blog, right?
CHEERS !
